About the artist
Ehiko Odeh is a multidisciplinary Nigerian artist based in Toronto, Ontario. Principal subject matter explored in her work includes decolonization, spirituality linked to traditional Afrikan masks, and perception of Black hair. Ehiko Odeh’s artistic style is characterized by an expressive palette. Her use of diverse media is a result of a belief that art cannot be interpreted through one form, but rather a range of artistic expression that is the root of many European and western styles.
